Re: Our biggest weakness
Don’t get me wrong, Rutherford been one of our best players this season but Jesus Christ his final ball, well the whole team’s final ball and general attacking play was beyond poor yesterday, and has been all season.

Re: Our biggest weakness
I watched the game on TV yesterday, and was amazed with 20 minutes to go, it wasn’t abandoned. The absence of an orange ball was a disgrace - I would expect Llay Welfare to have one! Also the fallen snow on the pitch did effect the game as a spectacle. With the tv cameras present, and the dosh paid, it was never going to be called off. That said, Mac adapted better and gave us a bloody nose, again.
I struggle with DKs blind loyalty with Dunn. Dibble was playing really well, last time he had a chance in the team. Rutherford and Mackreth are major disappointments for me. Mackreth struggles to beat a man and cross it, whilst Rutherford is the master of the back pass and tackles with no spirit. P45 for both of them. Hurst has got the “Pejic flack” after yesterday’s game. He was pressed 8nto action on a heavy pitch, and was doing a job for the team. Right back is his forte, where we have all seen him do well. We can’t win, or avoid defeat, in every game so the forthcoming FAT fixture is more important than we first thought. If we sort ourselves out, the confidence might just return. |

Re: Our biggest weakness
I watched the on a big screen in Liverpool alongside other screens showing Chelsea/West Ham. Everyone was commenting on the fact Upton Park pitch was bright green witg a bright orange ball and tge Moss Rose was white all over with a predominatly white ball. Sme for both teans I suppose but it did look a bit farcical.

Re: Our biggest weakness
If they had allowed an Elephant to run around on the pitch during the game, it would have been the same for two teams. It would not have been conducive to a proper game of football. The lack of an orange ball, when we all knew two days prior that there might well be snow, just underlines what a crap league we are in.
