Re: Smoke bombs/Flares - Punishment !
We can have control over it, providing the stewards do they job also don't we have CCTV. It was the same with racial abuse people heard it but nothing was done about it.

Re: Smoke bombs/Flares - Punishment !
Been around many in football or concerts and I have severe asthma and have never encountered a problem. The fact that we are continually getting fined for this is ridiculous! I can accept banning smoke bombs and flares though, despite my preference being to have designated areas so people can choose whether they want to be near one or not. Atmosphere at European games is x1000 times better than at most English grounds now and to be honest think the atmosphere at Wrexham games is getting worse. Most people just sit on their hands and slag players off for 90 minutes!

ardiff City manager Neil Warnock has been charged with misconduct by the Football Association following his sending-off during the 2-2 draw against Reading on Monday. The 69-year-old was sent off by referee Steve Martin in the 78th minute, as Cardiff came back from two goals down at the Madejski Stadium. Warnock said afterwards he thought his dismissal "was a travesty". He has until 18:00 GMT on Friday 15 December to respond. Charge seems to be one from the English Fa Last edited by Redordead; 14th December 2017 at 04.46:22.. |

Re: Smoke bombs/Flares - Punishment !
I watched the Ca4diff Reading game on tv. Warnock had a point about an incident where his played got penalised, when most folks thought that player had actually been fouled. Where he went wrong was gobbing off to the fourth official. We will never know exactly what was said, but he was never going to influence the referee. He knows that, more than anyone. So why did he do it? He should be leading by example and controlling his emotions. After all, he is no spring chicken any more. Sadly, Warnock type actions can be seen at any National League match, week in week out.

Otherwise the competition's integrity is compromised. What if the FAW let us off things that our competitors were routinely punished for? You can't have teams in the same league playing with different sets of rules. |
