Just a quick thought - you may have some loose change in your pocket and think it's not even worth digging it out and putting in the bucket - If 4,000 supporters thought the opposite, dug down and put it into the bucket it would make very little difference to the individual but a small amount x 4,000 would be a massive boost for us and our members.

Is the collection for a particular project as in previous years i.e. another wheelchair viewing platform? It might help the collection if we raise awareness of it in advance.

At present we have 6 proposals with the WST/WAFC:

Wheelchair Viewing Platform 2.
Audio Descriptive Coomentary service for blind and partially sighted.
Conversion of box one door to allow direct access between the box and platform for wheelchair users.
Improvements to signage in and around the stadium.
Umbrellas for fans stuck on the front row on a rainy day.
Autism Friendly match.

None of these are yet confirmed to be going ahead.

Good ideas and mostly all should be relatively cheap to achieve.
During Glyndwrs ownership there was a plan to utilise spare seating in the MRS concourse. Somewhere for elderly and/or less ambulant fans to use pre match and at half time.
Should be a simple and cheap project if there are any spare seats around.

Yes I remember that, the plan was to use the seats removed for platform one.

Whilst still under Glyndwr's ownership I reminded them of the plan and they spoke to WCBC's safety officer who asked about crowd flow. The stadium management was to do a survey and come back to me.

Nothing has happened since. But it has been on my mind to revisit it...

We do have potential sponsors for 3 of the proposals listed too
