He's worth twice or treble that, but it's definitely better than nothing considering.

He'll be at a Premier League club in 18 months. Burnley or someone.

Agreed Joe but his contract was up next Summer, so with only 6 months left was never likely to go for more than this sort of amount.

Exactly it's better than nothing, which is what I was expecting. Even if it's only 50k that is more than welcome.

According to the report in the Daily Post Motherwell have also put a sell on clause in their deal hich could be good news for us further down the line if as we expect Louis is a success at Preston. I believe normally the original selling club gets the same percentage of any future earnings from the sale by the second selleing club.
