Come on PD, you're setting yourself up for a very miserable Christmas here. Lost at Aldershot and Macclesfield, but won at Dagenham and Tranmere. Whatever the result against Dover, let's not get too carried away.

The game is so important from a confidence perspective as 3 losses against promotion rivals would cast doubts on our ambitions.
This is then followed by another 3 tough games and we need to come through these and still be in contention before the much awaited Jan window and rumoured new 3 or 4 players

I agree with Pagl it's a very important game I think in terms or confidence, we need to win our home games especially against promotion contenders, most certainly not lose.

If we lose it could be we will be in our usual Xmas slump, well beaten at Aldershot bounced back against Maidenhead, but followed that up with a hiding at Macc, now of course yesterday was a weaker side put out with little interest in winning, but whatever side plays winning becomes a habit & losing can become one to.

I don't set the team up myself personally but your statement is insinuating as if we're bottom of the table and have struggled to beat anybody. If we beat Dover on Saturday it's hardly going to be Roy of the rovers stuff.

No-one's disputing the Dover game is important, but not the make-or-break game some are setting it up to be.

We need wedge to be fit in midfield he is a very important player for us. Carrington hurst and Wright are not the answer?

Off course it's not make or break in December that is OTT... But I repeat it is important as in confidence and also in keeping up with the pack, this league is so close a couple of defeats and all of a sudden we could be midtable.
