Too many lads were pushed into the deep end. When you play a lad on his debut you have to have experience around him, talking him through the game. These lads never learnt a thing Saturday, they were only exposed.
This only proves we have a poor squad and this January window is so important.

Small but not sure it proves we have a poor squad, DK decided not to risk 9 first choice players so it was always going to be stretched. Have we ever had a squad in the NL who could cope with so many absentees. Time will tell if the experience has done the kids any good or not, or if resting so many players will be of benefit going into the next few games/weeks. Flynnie's fledglings didn't suffer too badly by being exposed to first team action before they were ready and at the wrong end of the table. Sometimes needs must.

Seems The Tramps had the same idea as us.

Lost 2-0 at Solihull.

Not if you look at the side Tranmere put out, maybe it's a case of Solihull starting to improve with their new manager. Also Tranmere were 2-0 up Saturday before the game was abandoned.

Also, motm should've gone to one of the subs that wasn't the budget Jefferson Louis. Ctarrington also played poorly.
If Carrington played poorly then that sums the day up as he was MOM
I thought it was a run out for the youngsters and that’s it. The kids gave their best and were beaten by a confident organised side with an old war horse up front and a good midfield that we could do well to look at - I particularly liked 4 and 8 and although a nob 11 was for sure better than some of our more senior players. I liked mcgregor when he came on. Not a great day but I was quickly able to consign it to the experimental folder.

IMHO, neither Carrington nor Roberts played badly on Saturday. But these 2 had to carry the other underperforming pros and a bunch of youngsters. Carrington deserved MOTM.
