Got to be Coddington either on loan or a 2 year deal.

There was talk of Falkingham from Harrogate which maybe a good shout but we should be looking for an experienced midfielder ideally L1 standard that is looking to extend his playing career (like when we got Keates) and Gateshead had Oster.

Afolayan has to be better than we have and likewise so does Burrows. Possibly Kosylo for Halifax as well.

Wouldn't be top of my wishlist, but at the moment I'd take him over MacKreth, who seems to have rather lost his way, sadly.

Wes York has struggled to get in Gateshead's team this season - mostly making sub appearances.

Mackreth is an absolute mystery - looked decent pre season - his best performance was probably when we came back to beat Easteigh at home 2 - 1. Considering we paid a fee for him I was expecting much more - but he seems to lack physicality and strength to take anyone on down the flank and beat them.

As daft as it sounds Carrington has put our best cross balls in over the last few games (and there weren't many).

i wouldnt mind having a look at Joe Ironside from Kiddy, but i dont know how much clout they have financially to be able to keep hold of their assets.

Aye.

York's got a brain the size of a pea; but he's more effective than Mackreth.

Mmm....Coddingtons not half way through a two year deal (I think) presumably on a reasonable wage. Unless Northampton paid him up (or partly so) can’t see him coming here now and would we pay a fee now for a keeper? Doubt it but would like to be proved wrong. We looked so solid with him in goal. I’d also be very surprised if DK thought York was the answer. Whatever the question is.
