Sorry but as a season ticket holder i do not expect the best players to be shipped out whatever the reason,if that had happened at Chester we would be laughing at them.Dean keates has put pride back into our club even if the football is terrible to watch, but is it wrong to think that Wrexham fc should be at the top end of the table when the average crowd in this division is less than 1500(£800.000 more revenue than average).

How does that follow? These players are all on two year contracts because its obvious the plan was for next year to be the real push. We are just ahead of schedule. Players like Tilt and Rooney went on loan last year because they weren't going to be here this season, so there was no point in keeping them when we could cut our losses and save money.

We could argue and argue this one,at the end of the day i bought a season ticket and i do not expect our better players to leave whatever the excuse.

We could leave it until the Summer as he is on a 2 year deal and we don't risk loosing him for nothing. Plus we have money from the Louis Moult transfer deal and attendances are above what they have budgeted for and we don't have a huge amount of debt so... i think they would turn it down.

But you also have to consider the fact we may lose money or the player goes for free at the end of the season. Then surely as a fan regardless of whether you have an ST or not then we have to consider the financial side of things longer term and not just short term for 6 weeks when we were safe with nothing to play for.

I would agree if we lost our better players if we were in a promotion/relegation fight but last season was different and about being prudent. You have to take the circumstances into account.

Also consider that there are bigger clubs out there in other leagues and financially they can come in and offer far more and also a set up in a players career - how can you stop that?

if those better players who may be sought after by league clubs...

if them leaving means we cant replace them and we miss out on promotion.but keeping them will massively increase our chances to get to the FL .

then in my opinion.. long as we ain't putting ourselves into debt.. we should not sell.

its sales of our better players in the past which have been the blame for us staying here... a prime example for me is when we sold obeng... i genuinely believe if he stayed we would of been crowned champions that season.

we need to stop being a selling club if we dont "need" to sell

Problem is though with the amount of cash being thrown around you can't stop a players head being turned. Agree that the club shouldn't be selling but the reality is we have a mean defence and that will attract attention from League 1 and 2 clubs.

Id be amazed if we get through this transfer window without someone making a bid for one of our players most likely Manny or Pearson.

Disagree with you on the Obeng comment it was selling Fowler to Fleetwood that had a big influence.
