I see, in some way, the benefits of a cautious approach.
If we bring in permanent signings during the window for what duration ? players will be looking for as long a contract as possible for security & relocation.
But we have to be careful we sign quality players good enough to get us out of this league who can also hold their own in the next league up.
Its also feesable that the longer we wait, other clubs strengthen from higher up the pyramid and their desire to offload their cast offs and unwanted surplus players becomes greater creating a larger pool of choice.
Who would be a football manager ?

Hope so.

To be honest, apart from Holman, there isnt any other striker signing at any other clubs in our league that im that bothered about so far.

I agree it does make footballing sense but please, please add some decent
scouts and maybe a CEO with full responsibility for steering the club into the
FL.

We don't know what is going on behind the scenes. We don't need to panic just yet. I'm hopeful that we'll have a new signing before the Hartlepool game. If not then we can have a moan.

I'm happy to wait until the window ends personally, not bothered about specifically having someone in before the Hartlepool game, as long as its the right signing (as much as previous pedigree can influence that decision)
