Re: Crowd for NYD
Historically this is a traditional fixture for a noticeable increase in attendance.
Those who have to work are minimal in numbers. Also a significant factor is the level of away support. We took 258 to Barrow - they will bring less but marginally more than Dover. I think our best NYD attendance in recent years was 01/01/12 for the visit of AFC Telford Utd who also brought a few - that was 5,812 with us top of the league and playing attractive football. Regardless of the league position we are not appealing to watch. I will go for 5,250 with 120 from Barrow. |

Re: Crowd for NYD
Doubt Barrow will even bring a hundred, their forum has gone into meltdown, following their home defeat to Solihull today. Mind you, they have won their last four or five on the road, the last being at Woking. It would be great to top 5000, but even on a Bank Holiday, that's asking a lot, hope I'am wrong, but for me it will be around 4700, and that's a good crowd, for after, all we are non-league.

Re: Crowd for NYD
Lucky to get 4000 winter freefall yet again, Macc and Aldershot looking good now and Trannies in form. Its not about second half of the season weve wasted the first half. While the games have panned out to be dire a manager with positive staff about him would take note and realize play more on the front foot and lead from the front were we could of taken advantage while all have struggled but the teams mentioned have now hit form. This season it has to be said is the worst regards quality and if we fail you really have to question our desire over the season to take advantage.

Re: Crowd for NYD
The ship's still in the dock. Let's wait to see who DK brings in during January before being too melodramatic

Re: Crowd for NYD
We're 5th during the Xmas period of games, I'm sure most fans would have taken that at the beginning of the season. It's a position that not too many would describe as dire. Our position isn't just by chance, remember the days of ' 1- 0 to the Arsenal'
