Has any team got promoted having scored fewer goals than they have played matches?
We have only scored 24 in 26 (only the bottom 4 has scored less).

Gillingham went up under Pulis with 49 from 46 which is the lowest I know for automatic promotion.

Will Man Citeh win the Premier by not scoring goals? Will the sides making the play offs do it by not scoring goals?

The simple fact is if we had scored goals in some games we drew and were on top we would be clear at the top of the league.

Solid defence yes but you need to score some goals our record is abysmal.

During the 1966/7 season Stockport County won the 4th Division scoring 69 goals and acquiring 64 points.
We lost 1:0 there and drew 2:2 at the Racecourse in front of 7000+. We finished 7th in the league.
We also lost 2:1 to Cardiff in the Welsh Cup Final having drawn 2:2 at home in front of 11473.

We had beaten Chester 4:2 in the semi-final in front of 11312 (no bubble!)
