I suppose some of us would accept where we currently are at. Macc can now go and consolidate their position at the top and Tranny ( who scored 4 today) are now on our tails. Even hapless Solihul managed a win at Barrow today. So unless we can sharpen up our attacking performance ( goals), we will fizzle out and drop down the league to mid table mediocrity again and look forward to the 11th season in this god forsaken league.

Hopefully DK is seeing the light better than me and can sort the attack out in the New Year.

Why will we fizzle out ? Based on what other than pure pessimism do you make that assumption?

Probably on our goals scored statistics and our complete inability to dominate games and put teams to the sword.

Based on the above people have every right to be pessimistic, but likewise saying we’re going to definitely fizzle out to a midtable finish is a little melodramatic.

Truth is probably somewhere in the middle.

On 21st November we were top. On 30th December we are 5th. 7 points off top.

We are already fizzling out.

Watched Aldershot v Maidstone on BT today, Similar teams to us no better or worse than we are, This league is wide open, But we need to string a few wins together, One point per game is not enough looking forward to Monday we should be fresh and must win.
