Itl be more than 10 if no one comes in this week. The fans have backed the club with 50k. It's down to them to show the desire now.

9 is still a lot and possibly out of reach now, look how quick it has turned around. You were slated for saying our promotion charge has ‘fizzled out’ I think that’s official now for the title and all them early season results against the bottom sides ‘which won’t define our season’ have now ‘defined our season’

Thing is that 9, could easily become 12 points....Wasn't there today, but it does feel like our title challenge is hanging by a thread...

There are no amazing teams in this league, but I take my hat off to Macclesfield. Given their support and resources, they are really over achieving. Nine points between us and them will be tough to overhaul.
Interesting to read fans predicting just how many fans will be attending our future games. I really feel that our hard core 2-3 thousand supporters would watch eleven cows in a field with Wxm shirts on! I am one of them. To move our attendances higher, which is the aim, we will be aiming at this floating fans who want goals and excitement. As we ain’t seen much of that this season, is it any wonder that these types of fans have kept away? It’s play off at best for us.

Macc are doing great but they will have a dip. We are by no means out of the title race.

We have a squad/team that has clearly punched above their weight until we got to December. I have always said performances lead to results not the other way around and this is now showing.

However due to the fact the majority of teams are average at best then we have managed to cling in there. However the football Macc play is now beginning to bear the fruits and shows what having a decent spine of a team and then adding round the edges does in this league.

The much admired coaching doesn't seem to have improved anything and the poor use of subs is probably down to the sheer lack of quality available to DK, although what Mackreth was doing back on the pitch today is as baffling as anything I have seen even under Mills.

Time for DK to make his mark again this January and at least this time it is to save our play off hopes and not our position in the league.

It is still narrow margins if we had held on to win 3-2 we would have been 3rd and the reaction on here would have been completely different.
Let's see what quality of signings we bring in.
The play- offs are realistic and I still think there is a two year plan , as if we were to be promoted with this squad we would come straight down again.
Look at FGR for proof of this!

I don’t think it’s ideal that we are in need a 3 maybe 4 quality signings in January, but given the huge turnaround of players in the summer, we were going to be extremely lucky to drop onto a team of Championship contenders. Given the small squad we have gone with this season, we have been quite fortunate with injuries so far. This could be of been another negative factor in the first half of the season. Luckily it hasn’t been a massive problem. Macc have found it difficult previously to keep up the pace with a similar sized squad.

Let’s hope Dean makes the right signings in Jan, and we can make the playoffs come the end of the season.
