I must say from the start that I enjoyed the game end to end stuff and in fairness although it is hard for me to stay a draw was the correct result. Barrow never gave up and our players did the same. Good goals from both sides, Although Dunn's feet were stuck in sands for two of the goals, He is a good stopper but is poor at crosses and corners. It is not the end of the world but we MUST have new quality players soon. I thought Miller was the best player in the first half and should have scored at least twice , Holroyd gets better every game holds the ball well and should have been man of the match for me. Pearson and Jennings must calm themselves and stop arguing with the officials. Let's see what this week bring us??

It's not relevant what crowds Barrow get, it's what their budget is that counts.
Remember they had investment from an American based bloke, not sure how much but that's the reality of this league, look at Tranmere! If it was based on budget they would be home and dry.

The team is far from the finished article but yet here we are sitting in the top 5 even after a dip in form.

Keates has improved the team during each transfer window so far and I don't see any reason why he won't do the same now. This team will be in the playoffs at minimum. If Keates can get the right players to come in, we can certainly make a run at the top.

There's plenty of games to play - the table will change over the coming weeks.

I see us as well placed, the team developing, money to strengthen further and last but importantly a solid fan base regularly attending games.

I'll gladly take where we are now versus this time last season - just take a luck at Chester's position - made worse with losing loan signings in Jan and no funds to get players in - worrying for them.

Trouble is there are some big Ifs in there. I've no doubt if we strengthen we will get in the play offs. At present I can see us slipping out of them quickly.

Yes, we are sitting in the top 5 with a game in hand but recent form is not suggesting that will continue as other sides begin to kick into gear.

We were top a few weeks back. We haven't pressed on and have gone backwards for whatever reasons.

Its not like we haven't seen our limitations and I'm sure Keates knows them too, its just we need a good January to push on, otherwise I fear we will be disappointed come April.

I have no idea where we will be come the end of the season and neither does anyone else. I know that 12 months ago to be in the position we are now was a ridiculous dream and completely out of our reach.
Do we need players? Yes.
Do we need improvement? Yes
Do we need histrionics? No
Let the man do his job, improving us each time he can and let's enjoy the ride.
We could be so much worse off. (and have been)
Players and managers who didn't care, fans going the same way and little to be enthused about. Carry on like this and at least we'll be interested in the league right to the death.
