To be honest I heard the same and if true makes it even worse as we should of gone out and replaced him if we are truly ambitious to get out of this league.

I would imagine we paid nothing or next to nothing. Look there was some merit in getting him back in the summer especially as some other options unfortunately didn't transpire. It hasn't worked for him, it's a shame but we have sent him back now. No manager on history gets every signing right. Keates has made plenty of mistakes, shock horror for a rookie manager, but I still believe he's done a lot more right than wrong and needs time. The hire and fire mentality just hasn't worked. Whenever we've been successful in the past it's with managers given time to build something. I know people hate us being in this league, I do as much as anyone, but there has to be a realism to where we are and what realistic progress looks like. Throwing money at it doesn't guarantee success in this league even if we had that kind of money.

A decent midfielder is a priority as well as a striker.
I don't buy this at all. We had chances today.

The turnaround of players at this level doesn’t allow anyone to build something, if any player shows a sign of promise the league clubs come and they leave. We need to drop this attitude that we can build it’s been 10 years of two year plans etc, the truth is there if you look at it from 2012 we have been a shambles on the pitch.

When Keates says he only wants four strikers, and one is not up to the standard required then there was no merit in getting him back in the summer.

Ha ha ha ha really !!! So your happy that we created a "few" chances against a team, 5th from bottom

Is this how low our expectations are now ? We should be looking to be dominating teams like that. If we've got any chance of promotion.

That's why we need a decent midfielder and striker....

Did you really laugh out loud at that post? Odd.

I'm satisfied with the performance from the forwards today, yes. We scored 3 goals and could have had more. Is 3 goals not enough from our front line?

We were all over them before Dunn dropped that clanger. Afterwards, the team got worked up and even our solid centre backs started making mistakes. Keates also had a nightmare today, by not only getting himself needlessly sent off but also not introducing Akil to the game earlier when it was crying out for him.
