this subject raised its head a couple of years ago, when Tarquin from Cheltenham (that is why i remember it) reported our neighbours for charging more for the away supporters to watch a game than the home supporters paid. It related to standing terrace areas and the national league rules that state if there is standing areas for home fans but not for away fans, the away fans have to be charged the "standing rate". As far as i was aware it only related to standing areas which are the cheapest tickets normally, as we are all seated it does not apply to us.
can't find the old thread now which had the rules paste to it.

You do realise thatthe responsibilities of what happens inside the ground is down to the clubs safety officer, stewards and those security blokes, not the police?

Should of taken a screen shot as the price appears to have been adjusted

Classic Scouse business. Buy tickets for £16, sell to fans for £20 and make £4 x 1800 out of an away game.

On the Tranmere official site, adult tickets are priced at £20. Total allocation is 1800, and on sale from today, 4th Jan.

I'd be interested to know who made this decision. I don't like how we fleece people to sit in the Yale Stand anyway; if the club is choosing to charge the same price for seats that usually cost 15-16 pounds then that's just exploitation. There's some humour in Tranmere being exploited but as someone who used to put the miles in following Wrexham away it's out of order.

The current away end charge away fans £20. So on police advice and health and safety they have to go in the slightly cheaper stand so should the football club make a loss per ticket?

Seems fair, as I've already pointed out, the cheapest on the day price for a Wrexham fan will be £20 as the GUS is out of bounds.
