I like Rutherford. Players like him and Carrington are essential parts of a team. People say "they won't win you xhampionships" well.no not as starters necessarily but they strengthen the squad. Rutherford assists this year have been very important and given he only got 2 last year the improvement has been immense.

I would expect both Rutherford and Holroyd to be here next season. We might need to offer Holroyd an extension soon if he keeps scoring at his current rate. But then again he's 31 and I would only imagine he'll interest clubs in our division. Local Clubs on the up like Salford might like the look of him. Talks with Ruthwrford can probably wait till the end of the season.

He doesn't need to be touting himself about, he has 12 assists from the 31 goals we've scored this season, and apparently has the most assists in the league. After the season he's having Rutherford wouldn't need to be touting himself around if we didn't offer him a contract

I agree. Definite Yes to Rutherford if we stay down, but he needs to be.released if we go up.
