Perhaps the word 'convincing' next to 4 - 0 is questionable.

Torquay looked very poor but had a hell of a lot of ball possession and several early chances that could have resulted in a goal or two - Dunn actually pulling off a few good saves.

Having gone 3 - 0 up before half time and kicking into the Tech End second half we could have half expected a goal feast - but second half was a borefest again improved only with a very late penalty.

So a 4 - 0 win against the league's bottom team where we possibly should have gone on to score a few more.

In striving for perfection and promotion these are the sort of questions we should be asking of ourselves.

The team(s) in the honours come May will be those who gain consistent performances starting within a 90 minute period - we look good for a time (Barrow both home and away) then poor at other times and have a tendency to be slow out of the blocks from kick off and sit so deep it's like inviting the opposition onto us.

Winning 4 - 0 is great but is it so bad to want to win 7 - 0 ?

I get accused of not backing the team with an inane rant from someone who doesn’t know that supporting the team and recognising areas of improvement are not mutually exclusive.

Maybe the clue is in his name it's a red for Liverpool rather than Wrexham.

Almost another incredible thread on RP as folk fail to comprehend other folk have different opinions, expectations, standards and senses of humour. But everyone should have an opinion and be able to express it! Otherwise, hypocrisy would reign, and we can’t have that, can we?

Thankfully, we all love our club and want us back in the Football League asap ie next season!

Ill try and explain for those finding it difficult to comprehend....
The match was as good as won in the first half.
The second was about making sure they didn't somehow find a way back in. Jesus this site would have melted if they'd have clawed their way back.
Second half was a professional performance. Nothing more,nothing less.
Of course they had lots of possession(stats not known) but thats how we have played a lot this season and a couple of blips being the exception have conceded very few goals.
Your team won,except it and move on until our next defeat when all will be well once again in the world of those suffering following a well deserved victory.
Lets hope the suffering continues. 😀
