If he was a hard working winger who scored and assisted for fun he wouldn't be in the conference and playing for Wrexham. All of our players have something "missing"

See this is what annoys me, Rutherford gets stick for 'scuttling' about, not being a direct winger taking on the whole team at will, not having an end product, apparently going missing in games and now not scoring enough goals.

Yet Marcus Kelly, who has also only scored 1 goal and has far less assists doesn't get any of the criticism.

Show me what Kelly does that Rutherford doesn't. Rutherford is consistently having his perceived flaws picked up on and moaned about whilst Kelly is consistently praised for performing at a lower level than Rutherford currently is.

Talk about face not fitting with some fans.

See this is what annoys me some fans who can't take another's point of view without taking it the wrong way as if their opinion is superior to anyone who's opinion is different, I accept Rutherford has had a good season where in my post did I say he hadn't? All I did was point out he is shot shy which his goal tally since he has been here stands out, I've not mentioned Kelly because if I go down that route non of our midfield is contributing enough goals, fans moan about our strikers not scoring enough,but good sides score from midfield and the wings to, if Rutherford scored half the goals York scored he would be up there with Pearson and Smith for player of the season & no I'm no great fan of York either, it's a forum about opinions about players man-up. Carrington has received far more criticism than Rutherford and Boden gets far more too, go on any football forum it's the same.

I don't know what car you drive but says it's a Ford is everyone else supposed to agree with your view of it?

It's called life everyone is individual and has opinions, it would be boring if everyone agreed like mindless sheep.

I wouldn’t call Rutherford shot shy he just has a very poor shot on him.

I wouldn’t call him perfect - but if he was he wouldn’t be playing for us. He has had a good season and I would be happy for him to be part of our starting 11 for the remainder. Yes of course he could contribute more goals but I for one can live with that and for sure he is not alone in that area.
