We probably just brought him in so the rest of the team could train with a tall striker in anticipation of signing a proper tall striker in January.

A proper striker do you not realise we are fourth in the league with loads of ambition,it is just keates who will not rush into buying a striker who is not up to standard:h urray:

I haven’t seen Featherstone play so wouldn’t normally comment either way. But he is just 5’9” and has scored 6 goals in 273 games. So anyone excited about us signing him needs to give their head a wobble. Hopefully it’s rumour and nothing else.

6 signings seems a lot but we’ve lost Miller and Massanka and ideally Dunn and Mackreth would leave.

Is Deverdics a left-winger?

It seems Harrison has played him at left-back despite being an attacking player:

Dunn and Mackreth aren't just going to leave. The fact that Dunn is playing despite all reasonable sense shows that Keates has no burning desire to move him on.
