The additions to the squad all seem positive, but the minimum progress on the striker front is pretty poor.

Dixie's point is valid, your insults are dumb.
Its not insults. I like Dixie he seems like a decent egg. I would personally prefer 4 strikers but it is what it is. And so far DK has done an amazing job, we can still bring in another striker to give us the 4 we need (and we will), so I don't think the incessant posting about strikers is necessary.

If we had to go with 3 for the rest of the season, it would be a problem. But we don't and we won't.

Quigley was the headline striker that DK wanted, and he brought him in with immediate success. He should be applauded for that.

I'm baffled by the fact you can whinge about it everyday every 5 minutes.

Its boring mate.

We scored 11 goals in 5 games in January. It seems to be like we've turned the corner.
It is boring but unfortunately relevant to this thread. If we'd sorted this out during the summer there would be no need to bring it up. We've struggled to score until recent weeks amd ae now find ourselves short again.

Its not ok is it ,but I trust Keates and Darlington to sort us out

I take it Quigley's ok or there's a player coming in before Sat, if not then it's a bloody joke.
I am with you on this one Dixie,to many people wanting to tell us how well keates is doing,we had to wait 6 months for the striker we needed, how many teams go into a match without a striker on the bench,i was shouted down by the happy clappers who said we only need three strikers as we can move Holroyd up front,do they think the same now??

Keates is trying to sort it, working hard etc.. he's had all month and time before thay to prepare, draft up names and get them in. He hasn't we now have just 2 fit Striker, don't get why others feel really annoyed by it. With money from btb etc he should have done better. That's not frothing, that's just reality of it

Lets be honest, he’s worked wonders in the year he’s been in charge. And it could be next season before we are in a position to really challenge.

The quality of player we now have compared to a year ago shows what a dangerous fraud Mills was. We now have players other clubs in this league would want.
