A bid for midfielder has been turned down but @Wrexham_AFC boss Dean Keates hopeful a deal can still happen as well as add a striker to squad in transfer window and he has targets.

Would not be at all surprised if the midfielder in question is Sam Finley at Fylde!!! Carl Darlington knows him well and had him here, during his caretaker manager stint, and at TNS... he also “bossed” the midfield in our 2 games up at Fylde this season! He’s possibly one of the best playmakers I’ve seen this season, which proves that he's now starting to mature into a decent player at this level... and still only 25. Just a hunch!!!

I don't rate him and know from Maccy fans in work that he only had a good game about 1 in 10 for them. They say he was just not good enough.

I don't expect DK to retain him for next season.

The positive is that we can bid for players so cash wise we can afford to bring better players in. Cant see it being Finlay though but Deverdics would be a good shout. Although DK will probably surprise us.
