We all know the limitations of the squad, as does Keates and I can see he is doing all he can to improve us.

But the main issue we are having now with recruiting strikers has possibly stemmed from failure to recruit more than 2 permanent strikers in the summer.

I was one who was glad we signed Boden and Holroyd in the summer and if i'm honest i'm glad we did, Holroyd has exceeded my expectations whilst Boden looks to be improving each game.
Lets av a riot is a little bit of a silly billy. Nobody's being negative here, Deans said from day one he wanted four srikers.

I wouldn't say people are being negative more realistic. Were already half way through the transfer window and have one loan signing in and one on loan who we have signed. No signing to help in the midfield or centre back cover. We've had bids rejected and despite having funds for once seem to be struggling to attract players to the club.
Two of his targets have joined FL and SPL clubs.

Sounds like we were in with a chance of bringing them into non league football.

Perhaps El Delano is setting the bar too high in terms of the quality of the players he wants?

Great that we can obviously compete financially with clubs higher up the football pyramid.

I would rather this than the dross Mills signed any day.

Thats a line wheeled out by pessimists if I've ever heard one.

Where is the evidence of that? Having a bid rejected is not the same as struggling to attract players.

As you say, we're only half way through the window. plenty of time to address the issues. Pint half full not half empty.

Aidy Pennock is busily alienating his players up at Barrow and some of them seem to be surplus to requirements. Thierry Audel would be a great option for defensive cover.

Seriously!

But when we make a signing you'll post 'Utter dross. I'd rather we didn't sign anyone than sign him'.

Its a circle of negativity
