He has said he wants to sign a striker and possibly another one in another position maybe this is the one in another position why knows, he knows we have to improve even more if we want to win this league simply put we need the extra quality to hold off Tranmere.

Franks was by far Hartlepool's best player this season. Consistent, lively and knows where the net is.

He was let go because Hartlepool couldn't afford to take up his contract I believe. Has had trials around the country including in Scotland.

If it is him, I would be very happy and it certainly would be a signing to make a statement of intent.

Especially if we can get Arnold on loan too....

If its anything like me, you'll miss some home games too... (don't have a season ticket at the mo due to finances so can't use that as a reason to go!)
