Ok, but clubs like Newcastle have away fans above home fans and Anfield has away fans below home fans but again we have to have masses of open space and netting to separate fans.

I can only think that the numbers have totally surprised the club although we had near 6k home fans for the first game of the season.

It would be good if Tranmere could be given more seats but that doesn’t seem to be an option.

Tickets left:

39 in the paddock
42 in the Yale Kop side
136 in the Yale GUS side

From what I can work out:

96 seats aren't for sale in the Yale stand Upper GUS side
460 seats aren't for sale in the Yale stand Paddock, Tech End

There is also probably going to be a strip of netting on the Mold Road stand which I imagine would be the seats after the last vomitorium which would mean 167 aren't for sale

Totalling at my guess to be 723 seats netted off, which may potentially be moved should the demand be there

Only free roam of one end that normally houses the away fans, but seats being sold that end have numbers and rows on so issues are being created by the club. If four go to sit together we are likely going to be in sold seats. As someone else says some must be being kept unsold.

Yes, which means currently we have a home fans capacity of not much over 6000 for big games.

Guessing some of the seats in the top Yale can't be sold as it's unreserved, understandable. Should open some more MRS and rest of Yale Paddock then.

Yes believe so. I know they've sold their allocation cos I have a Tranmere friend who is unable to buy a ticket in the away end.

Club may have missed out on a bumper crowd if they've only been given 1800.

The sensible solution as we stand now is to release more tickets to Tranmere fans and put those fans in the centre of the lower part of the GUS. Use more netting either side of them if necessary. Until the tickets for home fans sell out there would be no need to move the netting at the end of home supporter areas of the ground. But if they have to move some of the netting probably best at the end of the Hays Travel stand. There are bound to be loads of police in that corner anyway. Maybe this is the clubs plan.
