Have been to Tranmere and enjoyed both the pub next to the ground and the tent. My preference was the tent where fans from both clubs mixed freely with plenty of German beers and a friendly atmosphere.
What ever the current reasons for stopping Tranmere fans from having a drink pre-game the home and away matches are not dissimilar with similar numbers of away fans so I really can't see why NWP can't handle it in the same way to Merseyside Police.
If no-one else wants the money from beer sales lets examine how Tranmere setup and organise their beer tent. Tranmere originally intended it as a temporary beer festival but its been so successful that they use it all the time.

I got my ticket this morning. Excited for this one. It will be nice to see us hopefully compete against a proper football team. Let’s hope we edge the game and take three points. I can’t believe the interest that has suddenly appeared from nowhere, but It’ll be to our advantage.

I can see it being tight, without either side wanting to lose. Discipline and focus will be key tomorrow.

That beer tent was awesome at Tranny. Great craft beers on tap!
