My best away days are the obvious ones; going 1 up at Old Trafford, beating Brum, beating Sheffield Wednesday, Shaun Holmes screamer to beat Tranmere and Lee Jones sealing promotion and sending the Slops down. A less obvious one was when we beat Port Vale 3-1, it gave is all false hope that we'd stay up but was a great feeling for a few days especially how angry the locals got.

There’s not too many clips around of wxm in the old Div 2 but if you go forward to around 1m10s you can see goals from a wxm v Chelsea game at the racecourse .

I was on about the the largest crowd we've played in front of? Not a bad guess off the top of my head, but I am a sad twat wbo could name all the grounds in the football league and probably have a good guess at every average attendance.

The largest we've played in front of was Liverpool in the 70's as someone has mentioned. I remember the Chelsea game in division 2 when I was probably 8 yrs old. We used to park in the old Crosville depot and I've never seen so many coaches, all the way up Mold road towards the bypass well before the Plas Coch roundabout was there. Was quite lively as we were walking back as well, they seemed to be everywhere.

Winning the Welsh Cup final against Cardiff at the old Arms Park in 95 was a great day out. We had some team back then.

It might have been the same season that we played Burnley at home in the league and they brought around 3,000. Benno scored a cracking winner. The atmosphere was electric that day.
