So many great away days to mention, Birmingham for obvious reasons, Peterborough was just crazy, Brentford for me was the best scenes I’ve seen when Tolley scored, Brighton was also a good trip but as Sarge says Luton in that 4-3 game will always be my favourite I think.

Gillingham in 2000 last day of the season. They had to win to go up and they packed it out. 1-0. McGregor scored a screamer and Dearden saved everything they threw at us.

Millwall think it was 2001 brought a ‘lively’ following last game of season.

Walking to the ground I'd never seen such a fleet of coaches coming into town as Villa brought many years ago.

As one of the old gits there have been so many away days. Loved the packed terrace at Northampton with the inflatable whale bobbing around. Great day at Brum with my Blue Nose work colleagues in the adjacent stand. Brilliant result at Southampton in the cup winning 1-0. Burnley again in the cup great awy following. Rushed home to watch the game on match of the day but Bob Lord had banned the cameras from the groung
