Yes worst week of my life this. To see my beloved club on the verge of going bust whilst you lot get 8400 into the sheep pen is absolutely awful.

That sounds great, but don't forget our income is front loaded (season ticket sales), so we start the season with our highest bank balance and this will get eroded each month throughout the season, so that money needs to see us through to July/August.

And who took us into this league with its subsequent penalties ? And who milked the club following relegation. Who appointed the clubs most expensive manager in its history to lead the club (not) to promotion.

Yes - there have been some management errors since the Trust took over but none of those errors have yet threatened the existence of the club like those taken by previous owners.

Season ticket sales start May/June, then hopefully some concert money the last few years mid summer.

Very well put. Let's also look at the Hartlepool case...Mmmm purchased by chancers looking to make a quick profit, thinking this league would be easy. Now they are royally FKD.

I think I will stick with this model just a little while longer. We are on the UP, sooner the better we go up, but it's coming that's for sure. If not this year, next year or the year after.

I feel like the fan owned model can work with a large and passionate fanbase. I think if we continue on the up we'll start to reap the rewards of being fan owned. Whilst we haven't really seen much good fortune since we've become fan owned, now that we're doing well and we've got a bit of a war chest, things are starting to look a little brighter.

But with Chester, with them pretty much entirely depending on gate revenue to stay afloat and their relatively small fan base, the fan owned model has failed them.

I'm more than happy with the model and I'm sure the naysayers wouldn't have too much of a problem if it managed us to get us to the hallowed ground of the FL.
