With all that’s going on at the moment with Hartlepool, Chester and York does any one have any idea how our finances are. Would hate to have news like they have received thrust upon us. I know our crowds are good and we appear to be well run. You just don’t know in this insecure business environment.

Should be in the black. Average crowds are above the break even level, good merchandise sales and the summer concerts. Probably more on top of that.

Also Keates has money that has not been used in the transfer market as of yet. Not sure what will happen to that come the end of the season if it isn't used. Would it be ringfenced for next season?

Chester fans thought they were £100.000 in black with their ring fenced safety fund. Amazing how things disappear at some football clubs. They have gone from being in black to Deep brown

Im fairly confident "no proof of course" that the clubs being run well.. and that we are living within our financial means

i would rather stay in this league forever and live within our means.. than overspend and risk future possible implosion.

i know its a silly saying.. but id rather us be here.. than financially implode to try escape.. as i think thats york and hartlepools downfall as i think they overspent to try for a immediate return to the leagues just relegated from

and due to them failing to do so.. they are in financial trouble as cant continue to fund at these levels.

chester wouldnt be suprised if similar level and due to lack of crowds attending games has screwed them
