Yes but just for clarity you need to book your place in advance through the club shop £10. Turn up at the entrance to the right of the Hays (Mold Road) about 12:30. The staff will help you from there. Tell them you will be seated in GUS and you will exit via the same door after your meal and go to the GUS stand.

I tried I suppose through loyalty to the local brand to drink Wrexham lager / 1864 and then came to my senses and questioned myself 'why ?'

Turned back to Guiness (again) and realised what I'd been missing.

Correct.

I think there may be an issue with the glasses and glass washer as whichever lager you drink it seems a bit flat.

It has been questioned by many - when beer is bought in a pub or bar that is used on a daily basis the supply pipes are in constant use.

Now I'm no expert but after Saturday's match they wont get used again until the Halifax match - sitting there unused - then bang off we go again - repeat the process every fortnight and that's what you get. I am not a lager type drinker but whether it's the product itself or the equipment that's used to serve it in a glass the end product, in my view isn't pleasant.

When I did a bar for a local sports club, the pumps were only used on a Saturday and Sunday. On Monday I'd clean the pipes and then draw through clean water which would sit in the pipes until the following Saturday. This would stop the beer being "flat".
As mentioned, the right glass is more important. A lager glass will have an etched pattern or logo on the bottom whilst a bitter glass is smooth.

It's a two course ,bit basic but well worth a tenner, haven't missed one all season.
