Add Fylde and Sutton to that list.

Looking at the remaining games, it’s for Tranmere to blow it, and for us to buck up and score more goals.

To win the league we will probably need at least 86 points..We have 53 with 15 games to play. Looks like we will need 10 wins and 3 draws to achieve the points total.Tough but not impossible.Thats why last nights result was so disappointing, each game without a win makes the task that little more difficult

That’s my take on the maths. Cannot undo all those draws but, going forward, we must start winning games. Otherwise, another season in the blessed National League beckons; and that’s not a welcome outcome.

After last years debacle then to be in the top 3-4 is perfectly acceptable and in reality a welcome change.
However we could be so much better off if we had addressed the obvious shortfalls in the squad especially given we had the finances to do so.

We are still in the mix and the next few weeks will sort out the men from the boys
Everyone identified the shortfalls in the squad, that's the easy bit. Finding the right players to strengthen isn't so easy. Keates has really gone up in my estimation this season. A calm head who won't be rushed into panic buys. Our squad is already shaping up nicely for next season, as well as the run-in.

Hopefully, DK's due diligence will ensure Devericks will fit straight in and improve the team and not compromise our cohesion. Look at Utd, who have been in good form, introduced Sanchez a fantastic player but so far tonight have lost their shape and look vulnerable down their left hand side.

I didn't say it was easy - I was just pointing out the balance of the argument and that our position has been really good but could have been better.
DK has been extremely selective so lets hope this now pays off.

Interesting to read what Kevin Ratcliffe thinks of our situation, if he can be positive about us then things must be looking up

Highlights from last night in the link below.

Some great defensive blocks kept us in the match as I remembered. Most of them from Greg now having seen the highlights. That man really is immense!

Holroyd did well with his two late efforts, but not quite clean enough a header which shaved the post at the end.

That Holroyd header at the end....

Perfect ball from Jennings. Good evidence of the type of ball he's capable of for when some people say he never gets forward
