I would think there are eight or nine points going here - would love it to be more but Sutton (bookies favourites to win the league) away is a tough call and we have a poor record against Aldershot.

I see eleven points - given that a few of the away matches are reachable from where I live (Sutton, Aldershot and Eastleigh), I do want to see us win on our travels. See how we get on against Guiseley and Halifax first

11 points is the minimum for February. These were my forecasts before we signed Deverdics or Quigley picked up his strain.

If we can somehow win all 5 games we would be making a clear statement to everyone: we want to win it, and we are good enough to do so.

Any team from about 9th up that can put together a decent run is in with a chance of winning the league its that tight.

On paper - fraught with danger, I know - Tranmere and Fylde both have an easier run-in than ourselves. I think Macclesfield will slip up; but the others - especially Aldershot - are capable of anything.

Ultimately, if we can win 13 games I am sure we’ll come top. So all we can do is take one game at a time and take our chances when they come. I am confident Deverdics will create plenty; I am less sure we’ll be able to put them away.
