We were in a better position than I expected prior to January and now we have strengthened the squad in each area, were in a great position. Now it’s time to push on, we can’t go squandering this opportunity. Equally I won’t be grinding an axe if we fail to gain promotion, DK talks about a plan over a few seasons, he’s just ahead of schedule.

Yep, already got 6 first choice players tied down for next season if we don’t make it. You’d like to think we are making moves towards offering Holroyd and Wedgbury new deals too. It would need minimal tweaking. But we all want it this season after seeing how weak the league is.

This is definitely work in progress...We've got a good shout this season but with tweaking and signing some up on longer we will be strong next season.
I'm grateful for that as we are now a difficult side to beat....
Last season my old sunday league team would have turned the team over...I'm quite serious

Really good transfer window for next season if we can get Raven to stay here, with the long term signings Dics and Wright. If it’s true about Coddington and Cook coming we will be much stronger.

For this season slightly disappointing - still no centre half back up as Raven is really a very good right back who can play there. Wright wasn’t an addition. And we are still very short up front - Quigley is sill not proven at this level over a long period and is now injured .

This.

Obviously we still need to strengthen up our attacking options so a decent window could become very good. I know that Dunn's form has picked up of late but he still makes me nervous, so being greedy, I'd have liked to have seen Coddington here, even more so given where he has ended up.

I think next season is a long way away and we need to concentrate on the here and now.

The transfer window has been very good with 3 good acquisitions in Quigley, Raven and now Deverdics. Obviously the Wright permanent deal is also good news.

Hopefully Quigleys injury is just a niggle and he can recover for Saturday. Competition for places should now be a bit better which may improve some performances

Obviously on the downside we only have 3 forwards and with Quigley carrying this injury and I thought DK would have brought someone in permanent rather than take a chance in the Feb loan market.

Its going to be a rollercoaster of a ride from hereon in so hang on to your sanity

Very pleased!
I know Dean, Carl, and Andy have been really busy, out watching players, all over the country. Some you win, some you lose, but not for the want of trying. UTST!

So you want to change formation and drop Rutherford, who has arguably been our player of the season?

Ok
