Still can’t work out the preference for Kelly over Wright

Pearson had his worst game last week but then he bounces back to marshal 2 clean sheets and a goal. The best captain we’ve had since Keates himself.

Remember when we had Sean Newton as captain, jesus wept.

Keates has raised the standards back to the levels they should be at. Everything we now do is totally professional.

Dunn 7 stunning save. In the second half otherwise little to do.
Roberts 6 had better games but solid enough.
Manny 7 had a tough time against a brute but stood up well.
Pearson 8 back to his best with a goal to boot.
Jennings 7 good today especial going forward.
Rutherford 7 his busy self with better outcomes.
Devedics 6 good in the first 20mins went missing a bit after that.
Wegbury9 this lad is everywhere stood up to the giants in the middle of the park.
Kelly 6 did his best but was bullied of it a bit.
Holroyd 7 not sure he scored I thought is was an own goal , but industrious as ever.
Boden 7 set up the goal and some nice touches but needs a goal.

bulliied out of it a bit in the second half , but the partnership of Jennings, Devedics and Kelly on the left looks promising.

Decent shout to be fair.... May be plus one for Holroyd and minus one for Boden..but all in all happy after a good day out...

Smith- 6.5 looked abit of the pace today and let them in for thier best their chance but did ok after that.

Westbury 7 did well in the middle.

Kelly 6 - looked to weak and wasn't his type of game.

Rutherford 7.5 - was brilliant first 20 and was solid for the rest of the game.

Neverdics 7 good first 30 minutes then was solid enough.

Boden 6- thought he looked poor today never looked like scoring and doesn't seem hungry

Holroyd 7 took his goal well. And worked hard of the ball when needed
