Re: Remaining Fixtures
The league could possibly lose its second promotion place if Sutton Utd choose to stay down and keep the false pitch, they will have to rip up the pitch. As of next season a rule comes in that if any club chooses not to except promotion to keep its pitch they will be relegated as punishment.

Re: Remaining Fixtures
Understandable that everyone's a bit excited tonight but it's 1 game at a time and keep looking for the 3 points.
A tough run ahead and we need Quigley fit and a couple of extra bodies in on loan to maximise our chances. We are getting towards the business end now and it's going to be tough. |

Re: Remaining Fixtures
To be fair it's still all to play for but I do think the top four will be ourselves, Tranmere, Aldershot and Sutton and I still feel we will need at least 85 points to have a chance of winning it. I believe Tranmere are our main danger in challenging for the title but momentum will be vitally important moving forward and we are beginning to look like a side who are capable of putting together a sustained run of results which will put the necessary points on the board.
The consistency we have had this season without being spectacular could be vital especially as we are beginning to find the net more often without compromising our defensive duties. Obviously we must take one game at a time and keep focussed but fair play to Deano and all his staff who have done a fantastic job in turning this club around from last season's debacle, whatever the rest of this season brings our future looks a lot more promising than it has for many years. |
