Jonathan Franks perhaps ? Left Hartlepool fairly recently after not being able to sort out a new contract. I heard he went back up to Scotland somewhere on trial but not too sure where.

Keates is coming across as an extremely good manager - very level headed and will not be pressured into making the wrong calls on players.

Patiently building the strongest side we've had for a long time from a very poor side that he inherited. For his first managers job - that's some achievement.

He has massively outperformed since taking over, and whatever happens from here on in, this has been a successful first season for him.
