People keep saying this, but this is evidence of what can be achieved collectively. Other clubs may have rich benefactors but not many give their money freely, without interest on their loans or other strings attached. If we really analysed how much each fan put in on average, it's probably less than £20 each.
How many fans wouldn't throw in an extra £20 per season if it meant £100K for their club to attract quality players, entertain and above all consistently win games of football.

I think we should find ways to grow BtB and long before it comes to a conclusion, we need to have find ways to get more of those 6,500 Wxm fans at the Tranmere game, to sign up to club membership paying by standing order.

Not for me Clive. I've been a bit down on the initiative anyway; it only continues our tunnel vision towards player wages we've been focused on at the expense of the rest of the club for a decade or more. If anything needs a boost its our ailing youth system or a ground that is just about fit for purpose. A further focus towards player wages should only come from a concerted effort to increase attendances and not "going back to the well". I will be taking the opportunity to tell the club this although I expect to be a minority voice.

Take your point but promotion is the answer to most questions. Get promoted and the club could really flourish including being able to tackle the things you mention. But as we know achieving it is incredibly difficult. How much do we the fans really want it?

I don't think it would do us any good to publish what funds were raised - other clubs will use the information to our detriment when negotiating transfer fee - we all know what the funds are for and we need to trust DK and our club officials to do the right thing.

Secondly, promotion or not if we can club together as a fanbase and support our club with an additional cash injection which gives us an advantage over our league rivals whichever league we play in then it's got to be a good thing.

Suggest that the best return could be achieved when we are all together under the umbrella of 'the feel good factor' - supporters will more easily contribute when we are top of the league and in big numbers - could target one of our forthcoming home matches with a bucket collection. All buckets carried by club players not in the match day squad to give it some more appeal / and or ex players. The time to strengthen is not when a club is creaking and in the mire (like Chester) but when we are doing well - the worst that can happen is that more funds can be stockpiled as and when DK needs it - whether it's in this league next season or L2.

I just don't understand the comments that if we go up we can rely on other income sources - whilst we can we should keep the pressure up - as in any aspect of life the more funds we have the more we can do.

As long as we are fans owned 'Btb' should be a constant, surely.
People thinking our financial problems will go away if(when) we get back in the league are dreaming. Our rival league teams will also receive the League subsidy, and the majority of them will also have owners/benefactors boosting their respective pots.

We've shown we want it by turning up in numbers for the last decade. Promotion is the answer to most questions but after ten years route one isn't the only thing that matters.

I don't think it's any coincidence that supporter numbers have swollen since the club has been run and funded the fans. Stop the funding and the interest will die off in my opinion. Don't fix what ain't broke.

Count me in
If it helps to have a more competitive team and I arrive home every other Saturday in a good mood; then her in doors will sanction it

If have to get out of the dodgy league and take the extra ££££££? For being a main stream league club
