Fantastic donations from everyone, bucket collection, duck race, standing orders, Xmas raffle, donations from the gate money....the list goes on and shows what can happen when we are all pulling in the same direction.

From what was a fantastic RP initiative and a starting point of £4k then all the activities and efforts of everyone has made this fund what it is and DK has used this towards bringing in better quality players. Lets face it he has used it to great effect.

Can we do the same again next season though? Hmmm its a tough ask but one I am sure that we will all rise to.

We will need as many people as possible to help with the events, spread the word etc.

I think the BTB committee will be getting together to see how we can start some new initiatives for the next phase of BTB.
Agreed. It was proof of what can be acheived when people pull together with a common aim. I was going to say when everyone pulls together but although a lot of fans bought into it, plenty more did not when they were able to. Evidenced by how many fans don’t sell a single raffle ticket. The raffle was a big success but can be so much bigger if everyone did their bit. Maybe the way the monies have been spent this time will persuade others to contribute next time. But we’ll done to those who have contributed in whatever way.

That's life, not unique to us, similar to fans who have supported the club through thick & thin and those who quickly jump on the bandwagon when their is a sniff of Success, but we are extremely lucky compares to other lower league clubs, we have a large hard core fan base and a lot of committed hard working volunteers to make things happen.

We need to keep going, just heard on BT Sports, Aldershot fans have also raised £100K for Gary Waddock's budget.
