Twice now this season we have reached the top of the table and twice the performance after we have choked.

Is the mentality of the team strong enough to believe we can win this league?. Have we got the bottle to get up through the play offs? (our most realistic avenue)

I’m usually a big fan, but that was easily his most ineffectual performance in a wrexham shirt. He should have been sacrificed for Quigley instead of Deverdics, who also looked poor.

Agree with this except marking Franks 5 for the little time he was on, he looks as he should be starting as for Deverdics no winger he has no pace a poor home debut by him I would put him in the middle instead of Kelly. When are we going to find someone who can take corners and free kicks.

For what it’s worth, my observations on today.

As others have said, we just switched off after the goal. It was as if somebody had pressed the off button on the players. I noticed that after the goal the players just strolled back to the half way line for the restart. It seemed to take for ever. It set the tone for the rest of the game. The attitude seems to be “we’ll protect what we’ve got” instead of going for it and getting a second goal. Not sure if this is passed down from the management or it’s a natural reaction from the players. Either way it wasn’t the first time this has happened after scoring.

Corners and free kicks - Do they even practice these in training. They were crap all afternoon. They either didn’t beat the first defender or they were put right under the crossbar for the keeper to lap up. He must have thought it was a catching practice session for him it was that bad.

Deverdics is supposed to be the dead ball specialist but I only saw him take one corner the whole time he was on.

A really disappointing performance. Play offs at best I’m afraid.
