Chester's average attendance is just under 2k and they are broke, so an attendance of 2k on Saturday is not going to be big earner at all. Tonight just shows what people think of the club.

I am glad they have as I enjoy the derby however it's not sustainable in the long term with such a small fan base.

Is there still a Liverpool shop in Chester city centre? Bet it's doing a roaring trade after their European exploits on Wednesday.

It's a shame the city just doesn't seem interested in their own club though. 2000 when the club is on death's door is pitiful.

Hope they limp on to the end of the season and find their natural level at Conference North/Northern Premier League.

Judging by the size of Chester's crowd last night, perhaps we may have been better allocating them the players dugout for their fans, when they play here.
