If we say that we seriously don’t care about our rivals, we clearly have the morals of the Premier League. This Stone Age man attitude to anything on RP that doesn’t Centre on Wrexham Football Club, makes me laugh. The game is awash with cash at the top level, mainly because since 1991, the amount going to little clubs has dramatically dried up. I cannot believe that RP posters are slagging any WAFC fans off for even considering putting coppers in a bucket for Chester, when we see Gary Lineker on £1.8 million a year and YaYa Toure on £300k a week. Smell the coffee La !

You’re rather missing the point though.

I’m sure the majority would be willing to help Chester if they were at death’s door due to shady businessmen owners and asset strippers.

The fact is they’re not. This current mess is all their own doing. They’re fan owned and have stupidly lived way beyond their means.

Added to the fact that having raised £75k from their charity match, got £22.5k from Alabi’s tribunal and raised enough in their BTB to pay expenses for Dom Vose to relocate and play it doesn’t sit well with our fans to be giving any money to this current regime.

And rightly so.

Perhaps you're too young to remember, but when our club was on its knees and facing oblivion, every single football league at that time came to our aid. Fans United days, bucket collections at numerous grounds, Cornish Red collecting a football shirt from all 92 league clubs, etc. How sad that when other clubs are facing the same problems, we should turn our backs and say it's only about us, sod the rest. It's up to each individual of course, but I think it would be a disgrace for our club to turn its back on any other club as a matter of policy.

I do too! I would rather give a small donation to our struggling neighbours that pay SKY or BT to line the pockets of mega-rich Premiership clubs.

If we ever get into financial problems again, don’t go looking for any favours from CHESTER or beyond.

Very good point. How many of our fans have Sky and are therefore subsidising the whole rotten system and everything that makes it harder for the likes of us and Chester .

But we have no alternative to the whole rotten system if we want to watch the cream of British football ie Manchester City.

Match of the Day ?

Why do people sit around for two hours on a
Sunday to get even more bloated on Premiership bullshit ? Much better for society if they go for a walk by a river and try and spot a kingfisher.
