I don't doubt people want promotion. The problem for me is, we've got a happy clapping fanbase who're content with a point every week. The club have come out this week and offered a bucket collection for Chester. Disgusting. It's this nice club happy clapping mentality which will see us down here for another decade.

Me demanding a 4-0 win every week isn't going to get us promotion. Nor is typing F you Chester. They can pass a bucket round but ultimately I choose to put money in or not.

I trust DK to do his very best for the club. To find decent players for our level and to turn them into winners. Using the the dreaded work in progress probably puts me into the happy clapper brigade but coming from where we were last year , yes I am happy with this. If we go up this year brilliant.

If we don;t , do I expect more progress ? yes I do. But let's hope we both get what we want this year

I've got friends and family who are Chester fans.yes we hate them with a passion.(red passion).but I don't want them to go down.the derbies are something special.so for me I want them to stay up.

You can be as angry, nasty and as negative as you want on a message board but that won't win promotion either. We've had had 15 years of doom & gloom, what our club needs is a lot more positivity and if you can't be positive about how things off the pitch and now on the pitch are turning around then, you may as well give up.

Luckily for Wxm, we have a few thousand fans who appreciate the effort going in and progress being made and getting behind the club, manager and players. Everyone knows if we are to win the league we need to turn draws into wins but without all those draws we could well have finished mid table. We had to tighten up as team and stop being a push over, not an easy fix but it was done. We now have the players to complete the plan. There is no magic formula but from what we've seen of this squad and manager if we don't pull it off it won't be down to hard graft.

Indeed. In the last 15 years, we've achieved 1 promotion, won a trophy at the Millennium Stadium, won a trophy at Wembley and became fan owned. Most of this time's been rather dark but there's been some silver linings.
