Converting Meaningless Draws into Wins
I am confident we have what it takes provided we start with a stronger XI and stop making silly mistakes. Lady Luck will always play a massive part, no more so than in the crucial Tranmere v Macclesfield clash. Appreciate we can only do what we can do; but if we can somehow get our act together for these remaining 12 games, we might not need too much help from the others, as I am sure they will all drop points during this gruelling run in. In conclusion, whilst form and the stats may suggest we'll stutter into the POs, our past results are now irrelevant because we cannot change them. However, we can aim to win these remaining games and see how things pan out. Fingers crossed, eh!

Re: Converting Meaningless Draws into Wins
I think there are still too many games to play to worry too much about our rivals, but it is now or never and agree we need to go on a winning run of games to stay in the race for the title. There will be twist & turns amongst the front runners, but as there are so many in the chasing pack, law of averages suggests at least 1 or 2 teams will go a great run over the last dozen games, fingers crossed we can now kick on.

Re: Converting Meaningless Draws into Wins
We need to stop conceding from set pieces. The last 5 goals have all started from set pieces, its either been someone losing their man or not reacting to the 2nd ball quick enough and it has cost us 8 points. We've been solid defensively all season but ever since the Tranmere game we are all over the shop defending corners and free kicks. Also when we score the first goal we need to continue the pressure and kill teams off instead of the team sitting back in their own half inviting pressure.

Re: Converting Meaningless Draws into Wins
To be fair on saturday we did not sit back after scoring and had another couple of half decent chances. We tried to play the game in their half. However in the second half we started giving away too many free kicks in midfield which cost us a goal early on and until the last 5 minutes a lot of momentum.
