To perform in that way for such a vital game is nothing short of scandalous.

The management and players need to take collective responsibilty and some serious questions need to be asked of one another. Is the mentality all wrong?

Distinct lack of quality, especially in an attacking sense. Not once was the keeper tested. We end up with two wingers finishing the game up-front.

Total shambles that’s effectively consigned us to the play-offs at best.
Macclesfield showing how it should be done with a champions-elect style performance at a promotion rival.

Infuriating.

92nd minute goals for Aldershot and Sutton had a big effect on positions but even so eight draws in eleven is not good enough for a club with ambitions of promotion.

Unless Keates becomes less risk averse and just goes for it, we will be in this league next season. Even if we secure a lower play-off place, we won't be promoted via that route.

I'm all for keeping a tight defence but for us it comes at a high price and that's goals.

At New Year we sort of took the shackles off for a few matches and scored more but also leaked more, so it seems Keates struggles to get the balance right between attacking and defending.

Defo have a struggle to keep in the top 8 if the current lifeless performances continue.

At least Fylde's charge has been stalled and Tranmere not wanting it either.
