Macclesfield top and looking like champs......not bad for a team put together on half our budget and in the month before the season started.....by a manager who most on RP didnt rate😂.....whats he won they said? Humble pie anyone?

It's hilarious in a way but also the "what might have been" because Macclesfield are the only team wanting it.

If they go on and win it it will feel a bit like us fluffing our chance against Newport County at Wembley. Tranmere have been shite for half of the season and they've come into contention with a cracking run of home results and Macclesfield have ended that, they deserve to be top!

Another big test Saturday. Realistically if Macc win game in hand then we wont catch them. In all fairness they are prob the best team anyway.

We have to find a better balance. Deverdics not improved us and Wright seems an enigma. We have a toothless midfield atm and hard to see how Keates can improve it now. Not enough flair or pace in the team.

Best we can hope for is cling to a play off spot and get Quigley fit.

We have a few players who show real grit and desire; but there aren't enough to get us to the top. Sadly for us all the players going through the motions/flattering to deceive are on the attacking (ho-ho) side of the team.

I fully expect Keates to have stripped the paint off the dressing-room walls.
