People are missing the point here-fans need to support the team and not let our murmurings of discontent affect the team and their performance.

So it’s the fans fault?

Sigh, predictable response to a positive post! Of course the players need to get themselves up for it too, my point is that to the extent we can influence via our support let's try and do so positively not negatively.

You are right but it’s hard sometimes. We made up more than half the crowd last night and it was dire so it’s hard to applaud the players or find much positive to say.
I will attend all home games and as many away as possible and I feel sure many others will do the same.

The team needs us right now, we were so quiet second half at Sutton when still in the game it was bordering on embarrassing-we need to keep up the atmosphere to encourage the team more in my opinion.

We've definitely overachieved this season. You can say it's a weak league (and you're probably right) but if you would have asked 95% of fans in August if they'd have took a play-off place they'd have took it with both hands.

It's not done yet, but if we can get a few wins we can definitely get 2nd or (perhaps more realistically) 3rd.

I wish i was as positive as some of the posts on hear and i respect your views, but, we have had the best chance in many an year and to throw it away, its like sand going through your fingers.
There is so much to be said about this season, personnel, formation. Teams have been there for the taking and we haven't killed them off.
Its so frustrating following this team, you are never sure of the outcome.
The message the fans are sending to Dean now is. Drop this defensive out look you have and just go for it, starting Saturday.

The problem is that we’ve only developed one way of playing, keep things tight and try to nick a goal. Aldershot will prove a stern test so I’d advocate a similar approach as defeat would be disastrous against a playoff rival.

Indeed; the fans have turned out both home and away.

We've simply got too many players going through the motions; they need to put their big boy pants on and do their jobs.
