if however we dont manage promotion thhis season.. i genuinly feel with the nucleas of the squad already signed on for next year.. and of course a few departures in the summer.. i fully expect us to be serious title challengers next season
shades of 76-77 season

the next year we went up champions .

Paul Cooks Wigan that set up to keep it tight and nick a goal which is what they did? If only we had a manager who set up that way...

Wigan knew that Man City players were streets ahead on quality compared to them. They did amazing to stifle them and sneak a winner in a one off cup tie. Very little to compare with Wrexham’s game plan. Our players are supposed to be as good (if not better) than other National League teams we play, yet we still have a timid, unambitious style. Score once, then Park the bus. It may sound simple to DK but it’s not always working. In the past ten games, just how many points have we thrown away due to us drawing games when perhaps we could have won them?

Of course finishing in the playoffs would be a successful season, it's just so infuriating that had the team shown a bit more desire and dare I say it, guts, then we would be top of the pile.
We would have all taken the playoffs before a ball was kicked but a great opportunity has gone begging, in my mind anyway, hopefully there will be more twists and turns over the run in but we must take full advantage and the way we are playing, I can't see that happening.

As for negativity, that starts on the pitch not in the stands. If they gave us something to cheer about we would. Mind you, the guy on the opposite side of the steps from me is the most miserable so n so going. I thought I was bad, jeeez!
