Sorry but you obviously don't understand how football and football players operate... In short you arent going to attract the better strikers /flair players until you have solid foundations....yes you might get lucky like Macc but you might well make a mess of it also. More likely..

In viewing the most recent transfer window you will see our stock has gone up a bit and we are now starting to attract the attention of better attacking options. In the summer the football world still had us down as mid table/relegation candidates. Hence, we had Missanka for example. Keates had the money but wouldn't waste it on rubbish like Mills did..

Besides the point what has it got to do with a brilliant initiative as without it we wouldn't be doing as well as we are. I suggest you vent your frustration on the various other threads.

FANtastic support last year inc. the Xmas raffle - another £40-50k could make a significant difference again next season on top of the 7 players already contracted.

This was initially an RP initiative and shows the power of RP and the fans when we all pitch in.
Ive been away and cant be arsed reading through. I think its an integral part of our future now. Its a neutral idea that means if you are not member of the trust you can therefore chip in only for the team. Surely this is a win win situation.

If I look at the whole post then there are a number of things I disagree on.

It should be don't say anything if its not constructive or nice and not optimistic as that has no bearing on it. As I stated constructive criticism should be encouraged. Trying to compare a post that realistically states 'setting up not to lose' and the negativity is a cancer is IMO a poor statement to make.

Stating the obvious but more customers = more income!
Membership is something that I think the WST have not been very successful with. It stands around 3,300 at the moment and we should be looking to push this to 4,000 and then 5,000.

From the outside then nothing appears to be happening.

Is there a plan from the board?
Where are the communications?
What activities are taking place to increase membership?
What activities are in place to deal with lapsed members - only 11 from a total of 600 re-joining according to the WST figures.

More fans then more money naturally

Agreed, despite the success of BtB, membership with all its spin offs, seems to have stagnated. With a bit of leadership we can all help expansion and put some more, much needed revenue into the club and buy-in from more fans. Against Tranmere we had over 6K home fans and I can't imagine too many wouldn't want to be club members but for some reason they need a bit of persuasion.

I put £10pm into community shares. Since they did the club shop up I haven't heard any more use of the community share money or where it's been used. Thinking of putting my community share contribution towards BtB, Before I do, anyone know how the community share scheme is being used?

What is our current WST membership? Used to be visible on the right hand side of their web page when you went onto it.
