I agree, the national league doesn't seem the best environment to nurture young talent

That patience ten years ago might have played a part in getting us back in the league by now. Instead we've chucked every penny at first team wages, playing the same game as clubs better equipped to work that way. Sam Wedgbury described the club's budget as 10th/11th biggest in the league...selling raffle tickets to bump up the budget a little more is just a fig leaf to cover the fact that we aren't thinking smarter.
